I acquired my HBAR by first purchasing bitcoin on a mobile app, then transferring my funds through an alternative exchange to swap it for HBAR and finally depositing it into my newly formed Hashpack wallet. As a beginner in staking, I am still learning the ropes and understand the need for a secure seed phrase. Unfortunately, I misplaced my original seed phrase and now I am unsure how to safely transfer my funds to a new wallet.
Based on my experience managing crypto assets, it is not possible to reset or change your seed phrase. The seed phrase functions as the sole means for wallet recovery and secure access. Once it is lost, you cannot simply generate a new one to override it. Instead, I recommend setting up a new wallet with a new backup seed phrase and transferring your funds after ensuring every step is secure. This lesson also underscores the importance of carefully preserving your backup details to prevent future complications.
