Hey everyone,
I just heard some buzz about an NFT artist named Buckshot talking about their connection to that Milady Maker project. You know, the one with all the drama around it?
Apparently Buckshot was involved somehow but now they’re trying to explain their side of the story. I’m super curious to hear what they have to say about working with Remilia Corp and if they knew about all the weird cult stuff going on.
Has anyone seen Buckshot’s statement yet? What do you think - are they being upfront or just doing damage control? I’d love to get your takes on this whole messy situation with the Milady NFTs.
Let me know what you’ve heard or what you think about artists getting mixed up in controversial projects like this. It seems like a really tricky situation to navigate.
yo, i heard about that buckshot thing too. crazy stuff with milady, right? i think artists gotta be super careful these days. like, you never know what drama ur gonna get sucked into. maybe buckshot just needed the gig and didnt know all the weird stuff? idk man, nft world is wild
wow, this milady maker drama is wild!
i hadn’t heard about buckshot speaking out yet. super curious what they’re gonna say tho. like, did they really not know about all the weird stuff going on??
i mean, working in the nft space must be tricky af. you never know what kinda project might blow up in ur face. but also, don’t artists have some responsibility to check out who they’re working with?
what do u guys think - should buckshot have done more research before getting involved? or is it not fair to expect artists to be detectives too?
tbh, im dying to hear more details about what went down behind the scenes. anyone got any insider tea to spill?
this whole situation is like a crazy soap opera in the nft world lol
I’ve been following this Milady Maker saga, and it’s a real mess. From what I understand, Buckshot was a contracted artist for the project, not deeply involved with Remilia Corp. They probably didn’t know the full extent of the controversies at the time. Artists often take gigs without digging into the background of every client.
That said, Buckshot should have done more due diligence. The red flags around Milady were there if you looked. Now they’re in damage control mode, trying to distance themselves. It’s a tough spot - they want to protect their reputation but also can’t completely throw their former client under the bus.
Ultimately, this highlights the risks for artists in the NFT space. You can easily get tangled up in sketchy projects if you’re not careful. Buckshot will need to be much more selective with collaborations going forward if they want to rebuild trust.
