NFT fervor peaked during 2021-2022, and now enthusiasm seems to have cooled. Could this be a market recalibration, or are NFTs branching into gaming and metaverse innovations?
hey all, i reckon that even though the hype from 2021-2022 seems to have quieted down a bit, the underlying tech is still buzzing with potential. i mean, while the initial speculative rush might have cooled off, we’re seeing more steady, innovative applications pop up – especially in areas like gaming and immersive digital experiences. do you think that the shift away from hyped artwork towards more functional usability in the metaverse might be the next big leap, or is it just another bubble waiting to inflate again? would love to hear what others think about the long-term role of NFTs in digital culture and tech advances. what are some cool projects you’ve seen that point to a more sustainable future for this tech? (p.s. apologies for any typos, i type quick sometimes!)
imho nfts r evolving beyond hype. buzz dimmed but tech offers genuine ways 2 certify digital assets. not just art, its become a tool 4 sec ownership & id online. still a few bumps but overall, a promising shift imo.
