Hey everyone, I’m having a bit of an issue with my Tangem wallet and am curious if anyone else has faced something similar. I staked some crypto a while ago, but I can’t find any sign of the staked tokens when I look at my wallet balance. My regular holdings show up, but there’s nothing about the staked amount. I’m getting a bit worried that something might have gone wrong during the staking or if it’s just the way Tangem wallets deal with staked assets. Has anyone else experienced staked crypto not showing up in their Tangem wallet? I’m trying to figure out if this is typical or if I need to be concerned about my staked tokens.
yeah, tangem wallets dont display staked tokens. u gotta check the staking platform you used since the wallet only shows what’s in your address, not the staked stuff.
Oh interesting, so this happens a lot? @Ray84 what platform did you use for staking? I’ve been thinking about staking some ETH but wasn’t sure how it works with hardware wallets like Tangem.
Did you get any confirmation or receipt when you staked? Most platforms give you some way to track your staked amount and rewards even if it doesn’t show in the wallet itself. Also - can you see any transaction history on the Tangem showing the staking transaction going out? That might confirm everything went through.
Sorry if this is obvious but have you tried looking up your wallet address on Etherscan (or whatever blockchain explorer for your crypto)? That should show the outgoing transaction to the staking contract.
Yeah, that’s totally normal with Tangem and other hardware wallets. When you stake crypto, your tokens get locked in a smart contract or sent to a validator - they’re not in your wallet address anymore, so Tangem can’t show them. I’ve used Tangem for two years and got confused about this exact thing when I started staking. The wallet just displays what’s actually in your address right now. You’ll need to check the staking platform’s dashboard or use a blockchain explorer to track your staked tokens. They’re not gone - just sitting somewhere else earning rewards.
