Hey NEAR community!
I’ve been staking my NEAR tokens for about two months now. Something weird is going on though. When I check the staking menu, I can see my daily rewards coming in. But here’s the strange part: my main account balance isn’t changing at all. It’s stuck at 0 NEAR.
This doesn’t seem right. Is anyone else having this problem? Maybe it’s a glitch in the system? I’m kind of worried about my staked tokens now.
Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it? I’d really appreciate some help or advice. Thanks in advance!
I encountered a similar issue when I first started staking NEAR. The key is understanding that staking rewards don’t automatically transfer to your main account balance. They accumulate in your staking pool until you manually claim them.
To check your actual rewards, navigate to the staking section of your wallet. Look for an option to ‘Claim Rewards’ or ‘Withdraw’. This action will move your earned rewards to your main account balance.
If you can’t find this option, or if claiming doesn’t work, there might be a technical issue. In that case, I’d recommend contacting NEAR support directly. They can access your account details and provide more specific assistance.

yo mia, that’s weird af. i had similar issue last month. turns out my rewards were goin to a separate account. check ur staking dashboard for a ‘rewards’ tab or somethin. might be hiding there. if not, hit up NEAR support. they sorted me out quick. good luck!

i’ve been staking NEAR for a while too, and i haven’t run into that exact issue. but here’s a thought - have you checked if your rewards are set to auto-compound? sometimes they don’t show up in your main balance cuz they’re automatically being added to your staked amount. might be worth double-checking that setting?
also, just curious - which wallet are you using? i’ve heard some wallets can be a bit funky with displaying balances sometimes. maybe try logging in through a different browser or the mobile app (if you’re not already) to see if the balance shows up differently?
