Hey everyone! I’m completely new to the crypto world and just bought some Ethereum yesterday. I have to admit I’m pretty lost right now and don’t really understand what I’m doing. I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction for learning more about this stuff. Are there any good educational resources you’d recommend? Maybe some content creators who explain things in simple terms for beginners like me? I really want to learn the basics so I can make better decisions going forward. I know this might seem like a silly question but everyone starts somewhere right? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance for being patient with a total newbie!

What made you pick Ethereum first? Something you read or just heard about? I basically chose randomly which wasn’t smart haha
Here’s what helped me most - forget the technical stuff for now and focus on WHY Ethereum exists. What problem does it solve? Once I got that, everything clicked. Have you dug into that yet?
Also curious - where’s your ETH sitting? Still on the exchange or did you move it to your own wallet? I was terrified I’d screw up the transfer 
What’s confusing you most? For me it was all the jargon people casually drop like everyone knows it. Still get lost in conversations here sometimes tbh!
Welcome to crypto! Smart move asking for educational resources first. I jumped in without research three years ago and paid for it with some expensive mistakes. Start with Coin Bureau on YouTube - Guy breaks down complex stuff without the hype. The Ethereum Foundation’s docs are actually pretty readable once you get the basics down. Here’s what I wish someone told me: don’t stress about understanding everything right away. Learn wallet security first, then work up to smart contracts and DeFi. Tech moves fast but the fundamentals stay the same. Also, spend time reading through old forum discussions here. You’ll find answers to questions you don’t even know you have yet.
Congrats on your first ETH! Best advice I got starting out: ignore crypto Twitter and Reddit for now. Too much info gets overwhelming fast. Just hold what you bought while you learn.
