New to cryptocurrency investing

I’m seeking feedback on my cryptocurrency investments. I’m a 30-year-old male from a middle-class background who started investing in crypto earlier this year. My family and I are on a limited income, so I can only invest small amounts. I initially thought crypto was uninteresting, but my perspective has changed after conducting my own research. Unfortunately, I have no supportive friends or family who understand crypto to discuss my experiences with. Currently, I have:

  • 9 SOL staked
  • 237 JUP staked
  • 1200 BEAM coins (Ethereum)

I’ve also made minor investments in a few presale projects:

  • Retik Finance (I’m skeptical about its legitimacy but decided to invest anyway)
  • Meme Kombat (Ethereum) despite its poor performance, I value its utility and the team behind it.
  • I just pre-ordered the SolanaMobile Saga 2, which seems to offer advantages to the crypto ecosystem and consumers.

This journey is new to me, but I’m informed and excited about the Solana ecosystem, believing it holds the most potential in the crypto landscape. I’d appreciate any input or advice (excluding bots and scammers) as I navigate this space. Cheers! :rocket:

hey elias87, welcome to the world of crypto! it sounds like you’re off to an intriguing start with your mix of investments. solana is definitely an exciting ecosystem with lots of buzz and innovations. your cautious approach to presales makes sense too—it’s always good to balance enthusiasm with a bit of skepticism, given some projects can be hit or miss. do you find any particular part of the crypto world especially fascinating? maybe smart contracts or NFT’s for instance? and how do you balance the risk and research before diving into a new project? i’m curious about how you’re managing to learn and stay up-to-date with everything. keep up the explorative spirit! :rocket:
